ECHO Project

Do you have a formerly loved musical instrument that needs a new home?  We’ll be happy to take your donation and place it into the hands of a budding music star.  You generosity may lead to the discovery of the next Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, Joshua Bell, Carlos Santana, or Melissa Aldana!

Annual ECHO Project
Accepting Donations at HCPSS  Solo & Ensemble Festival

January 25th @ Long Reach HS

Every year HCPSM organizes a drive to collect gently used instruments for use in our school system.  This drive, named Every Child Has Opportunities  (ECHO) Project, often provides instruments to students who lack the resources to rent or purchase their own.

Thanks to Music & Arts these instruments are professionally cleaned and minor repairs are made before being distributed.  The ECHO Project typically collects instruments at the Solo & Ensemble Festival every January.  If you can't make it to the festival, HCPSM is willing to pick up instruments anywhere in the county.

We offer tax receipts for your donation. If you have an instrument you are ready to part with, please consider a donation to the ECHO Project, to make sure all our neighbors truly do have musical opportunities.

Send an e-mail to hcpsm3@gmail.com for more information or to arrange a pick up.

A special thanks to Music & Arts for providing repairs to get the instuments back into the schools.
