Music Administrator Directs Young Artists of America Performance While Several Music Teachers Perfor
Terry Eberhardt, the Instructional Facilitator for Music in Howard County Public Schools, recently directed the Young Artists of America performance at the Kennedy Center Millenium stage. Several Howard County music teachers also took part by performing in the pit orchestra. Greg Knauf (Music Teacher Reservoir HS) played keyboard, Saul Green (Band Director Oakland Mills MS) was on the drum set, and Brandon Bickham (Band Director at Hammond ES and Tridelphia Ridge ES ) played bass guitar.

It presents symphonic theatrical productions featuring young performing artists from the Greater Washington, DC area alongside professional mentors. On February 27th, they performed at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Millenium Stage. They presented highlights from their current 2016-2017 season, including selections from The Wizard of Oz, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Chess, and The Lion King."
